Welcome to Deivadan !

Beneath our roof, there will be no more misery or solitude. We will radiate light, that would drown all the darkness in the lives of elderly abandoned women out there. We will cherish them with unconditional love and care, which life denied them in their pasts. Deivadan will be their new home and Deivadan sisters, their new family.

About Us

Deivadan centre at Vadakkencherry is a home for the helpless, the homeless, the sick and the suffering elderly women. At this centre, these elderly women find a home, a hope to live towards the evening of their life in the love and service of Deivadan Sisters. Thus they gracefully live their old age and prepare themselves to meet God.

Deivadan centre began its ministry to the elderly abandoned women with three members on 29.10.2000, at Vadakkencherry on a piece of land donated by a benefactor. The centre has completed 21 years of its existence and grown into a great institution supporting So far about 500 women.

Ascending the stairways of progression

A shelter was inevitable for the poor helpless women and raising it from nothing was a great challenge for us. A barren piece of land was all we had at first, but God appeared in front of us disguised as generous and kind people, helping and supporting us to turn Daivadan into a reality. This haven brought life to the broken hopes of many, by providing them with a safe shelter to live, neat clothes to wear, healthy food to eat, and the warmth & comfort of a home they always yearned
